On Wednesday, the 9th of December 2015, the Kurdistan Workers' Syndicate in Zakho allocated a seminar for Dr. Shawkat Zain Al Abadin, lecturer at the Department of Islamic Studies at the University of Zakho. The seminar was held at the Hall of the Khabur District Committee and was visited by a large audience. In his seminar, Dr. Shawkat Zain Al Abadin explored a number of genocides, which occured throughout history, and was focusing on the genocides that were committed against the Kurds. Furthermore, he focused on the prevention of future genocides.
